New Park Manor
The opulent bedrooms at The New Park Manor retain many of the features that first attracted Charles II and the ladies of his court.
Address: New Park Manor, Lyndhurst Road, New Forest, SO42 7QH
Website: New Park Hotel
New Park Manor was originally built in 1079 by William the Conqueror. On his return from France in 1666, it became the favourite hunting lodge of Charles II. The main building has been sympathetically modernised, combining comfort and luxury with a remarkable history. A stay at New Park Manor is to tread in the footsteps of King Charles and his friends.
Located in the heart of the New Forest, it is the combination of secluded location and top quality facilities that makes the New Park Manor the ideal place to experience a personal detrox retreat.
All the bedrooms at the New Park Manor are named after the ladies of court during Charles II's reign. From most you have a delightful view of the New Forest parkland. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a herd of deer wander across the Hotel's extensive grounds.
The Manor rooms are grand and individually styled; a number of rooms have four poster beds. The main building retains many of its original features without sacrificing modern luxuries. The rooms in the New Forest wing and the Country Classic Rooms are more contemporary/classic in style.
The New Park Manor Hotel and The Bath House are set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Surrounded by forests and parkland, its beauty and tranquility make it the ideal place to get outdoors, try new activities, make new friends and fully relax.
